Ladies and Germs,
It is time for another edition of Confessional Friday. Yes, it's that time of week where I confess some of deepest, darkest secrets from this past week. I'm linking up my confessions with Leslie at A Blonde Ambition Blog.
Shall we?
//1. I confess I wore one of my absolute favorite outfits TO DATE this week. I documented via Instagram, but think it's probably worthy enough for a full-fledged outfit post. Gah, I heart mustard and navy.
//2. I confess that all week I've teetered along the line of self-medicating with cupcakes. New software + new email platform + launching the same day + boss coming back from maternity leave = Quite a stressful week. Cupcakes just make me happy. Cupcakes solve all problems. Okay, maybe not ALL problems. But most.
//3. I confess that I literally have 7 pillows in my bed. For one person. To me, this isn't strange, but I feel like it is not normal. Thoughts?
//4. I confess I wore the same pants to work back-to-back. In my defense they were black pants and I did style them differently so hopefully no one noticed. ;)
//5. I confess that I am now the brand SPANKING new owner of a pair of TOMS shoes. Yep, yep. Mr. First Date (who subsequently has turned into Mr. Second Date and maybe Mr. Third Date) gifted me with a fabulous pair of TOMS for my b-day. Well, an e-giftcard for a pair of TOMS. I received them in the mail yesterday and I can't wait to wear them.
//6. I confess I toyed around with wearing my new shoes to work today but realized that with the local forecast calling for snow and a wintry mix, I should probably wait to break them in.
//7. I confess that so far, 28 has been a great year! Yes, I'm only a week into it, but this week has been a good 'un. Maybe everyone WAS right that life gets better with age...
Alrighty y'all. Time for me to sign off for now. Have a fabulous weekend!!

I LOVE the mustard/navy combo! And, I wore black pants twice this week, too. It was dry cleaning week at our house!
ReplyDeleteLove the outfit. That many pillows is not too many. And what a sweet guy! Does he have a single brother? I need a good guy and someone who will give me shoes too! He sounds like a keeper, girl. I'm stopping in from Confessional Friday and am your newest follower!
ReplyDeleteJen @ CraftyMisAdventures.com
HAHA! Unfortunately, he doesn't have a single brother. :( But, hang in there. It should be some sort of consolation to know that there ARE guys who will buy a woman shoes. :)
DeleteGreat outfit, love the yellow and navy combo. Mr. Date sounds pretty awesome, can't wait to hear about the next one.
ReplyDeleteI frequently wear the same pants to work back to back. They're black. It's harmless.
ReplyDeleteThat outfit is gorgeous! I love every piece of it.
When's the possible third date?
This weekend!!!
DeleteI wanna see the shoes :) you're gonna LOVE them
ReplyDeleteI read somewhere that having a lot of pillows is a southern thing. There are 10 currently sitting on my bed. It drives the yankee boyfriend crazy, but I love it!
ReplyDeleteTwo dates and a pretty sweet birthday gift? Sounds awesome.
ReplyDeleteLove the shoes...where did you get them?
ReplyDeleteThe shoes came from Target. They are old, though. But these mustard flats have received a TON of wear from me. :)
DeleteFirst of all, LOVE the sequined striped shirt. Second of all, a man who buys you a fabulous pair of TOMS after two dates sounds like a keeper. Just sayin... :)
ReplyDeleteStopping by from Confessional Friday. Love the outfit!
ReplyDeleteI have to say I am totally loving this outfit. But oddly... I own ONE pair of khakis and they look horrid on me! HAHA! Mr. Dates seems pretty awesome to buy you shoes after two dates... If you don't keep him send him my way!! I am always in need of new shoes and great humorous company ;). What are you doing for date number three??
