My Prozac Playlist

I was listening to the radio the other morning and the radio talk show I listen to was doing a segment called "Prozac Playlist". Now, their initial premise was for each member of the radio show to share a song that always puts them in a good mood-no matter what.

So, I'm taking this a step further and doing a whole list of songs that ALWAYS put me in a good mood when I listen to them. Then I'm gonna actually make a playlist out of these songs and put them on my phone whenever I need a little pick-me-up.

So, in random order, my Prozac Playlist*...

Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)
C & C Music Factory

Some Nights

Everybody (Backstreet's Back)
Backstreet Boys

Shake Ya Tail Feather
Nelly, P Diddy, Murphy Lee

Lady Marmalade
Mya, Christina Aguilera, Pink, Missy Elliot, Li'l Kim

Eric Clapton

Feelin Alright
Joe Cocker

Owl City

You Are Good
Israel Houghton

Do you have a Prozac Playlist* of songs that instantly lift YOUR mood?

*No disrespect intended to those who take Prozac.

  1. I love this idea. I would add Maggie Mae by Rod Stewart.. lol!

  2. Shake It Out - Florence and the Machine
Brighter Than the Sun - Colbie Caillet
Stompin' at the Savoy - Benny Goodman
How He Loves - John Mark McMillan (this one makes my cry AND makes me happy)
Too many show-tunes to name! :)

  3. Say Hey by Michael Franti &Spearhead
    Regulators by Warren G
    Bitch by Meredith Brooks
I also agree with Shake it Out, above. A great song!

  4. Toxic - B Spears
Black or White - Michal Jackson (or any Michael Jackson)
    New Shoes - Poalo Nutini

Comments make me SO happy! Go ahead...make my day. ;)
