Is Your Blogroll Monochromatic?

I make a conscious effort to read and follow blogs that showcase diversity in women.

In a world where it seems the thin blonde bloggers are a dime-a-dozen (no offense intended...it's just what I've observed), I enjoy seeing posts by other bloggers who look different than that.

They have different styles, different sizes, different ethnicities and different shapes.

Over the last few months, I've made a real effort to read blogs from all different kinds of women. I love getting inspiration from women all over the world. I enjoy seeing how different bloggers might wear the same thing and how each one expresses their personality through clothing.

So, I encourage you to take a look at the blogs you read. Are they diverse? Or are they monochromatic?

Clockwise from top left: Leslie, Serena, Whitney, Tanesha, Chris & Mandy.

  3. Loved this topic. As a matter of fact I found your blog through the WIWW at Pleated Poppy and I have to admit I was just skipping around since it seems like the majority of them look like they have been cookie cuttered. All the same hair, shape, lives.

  4. I also follow bloggers that I can relate to, and this means being curvier than most or just having a cheerful, quirkly fashion sense. I just enjoy browsing through blogs and seeing how people dress up within their own budgets and their own sense of style. :)
