top 5 tuesday: top 5 pics of Washington D.C.
So, I've mentioned in a previous post that I'd never before visited Washington D.C. Well, that changed when I visited our nation's capital with my boyfriend last week. So, for today's Top 5 Tuesday, here are my 5 favorite pictures that I took while visiting.
It's the Washington Monument and the Capital through the columns of the Lincoln Memorial.
The underground Metro station. I'm not sure why it's yellow...but I like it!
The beautiful arch in Chinatown!
One of the mounted park police. I had to pretend I was fixing something on my camera to capture this because I wasn't sure if I'd get in trouble for taking his picture or not.
The Vietnam War Memorial wall. It was so beautiful.
You didn't ask, but my favorite is the metro picture. It's very cool.

ReplyDeleteI loved the metro picture, too! I always try to capture a shot like that when I'm down there, but it never works for me. I think you captured DC beautifully! I love looking at your photos.
