top 5 tuesday: maxi skirts

It seems as if the maxi skirt is going to be really big again this spring/summer. I even got myself a cute one from Old Navy recently. Maxi skirts are very versatile and can be worn with a blousy shirt, a fitted jacket an much more. Here are 5 maxi skirt looks to get your creative juices flowing for your spring wardrobe.

  2. I love that second look! I love maxi skirts, but I'm way too short to pull them off!

  3. Love, Love Love the maxi skirt ... and I can wear them. But I always feel so doggone conspicuous in them. I have several vintage dresses that are maxi's and I'm reluctant to try to sell them in my Etsy store because it seems like people won't wear the vintage variety, which are often floor length. I had considered hemming all of my maxis to short lengths and selling them that way. What do you think?

    1. Hi Crystal! I wouldn't rush to hem the maxi dresses just yet because the popularity of the tv show Downton Abbey might just bring back that floor-length day dress look. (The tv show takes place from 1912-1920.) I really have a hankering that this look will gain popularity in the future. Are they sleeveless?
