day 5: family (& instagram)

Did I mention that I'm thankful for my family? They have always been so supportive of me and my decisions. Yesterday, I got a chance to spend time with 2 of 3 parts of my family yesterday and I enjoyed it so much.

Here are a few pics from yesterday's festivities...

This is Ashton (sister) and I as we traveled the 1 hour and 15 minutes down to the homestead in Columbia.

Ashton and her burglar/sheik face on the drive down.

My grandparents had their thanksgiving festivities at the Lake House in Columbia. It was seriously SO beautiful.

I am in love with these beautiful pine trees.

My father sampling some of the homemade wine. Yes, it does a body good.

Okay, so this one (and the rest after) is technically not an Instragram...but y'all don't mind, do you? M & D at the Lake House.

A pretty view!

All of the cousins! Plus my sister, who is making a moustache with my cousin's long hair. Ugh.

Well, that's all for me for today! I'm getting ready to head back to Wilmington with my parents for the weekend. Yay!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and that y'all have an awesome weekend!

  5. Wow, Jamie, I have family in Blythewood and Ridgeway as well. I will be there for Christmas but I'm not quite sure when yet. (Christmas Eve, Day, the day after, etc) I'll let you know when we finalize plans.
