t'was a grand affair

Why, hello there, friends!

I'm taking a break from my normal Top 5 Tuesday post to share some bee-you-tee-ful pictures from the wedding I was in this weekend. If you haven't bee tuning in to A Little of This and That lately, I was in one of my best friend's wedding this past weekend. It was a grand affair at their newly-restored 1860s antebellum home. There was delicious food, cupcakes, a doggy ring bearer and of course, the Cupid Shuffle. :)

Here are a few photos taken by my friend Sam who was the wedding photographer. As a budding-sort-of-amateur-photographeress, I am totally in awe of her ability to capture great moments on film. I'll post a few of her photos below. If you'd like to see more of her work (like engagement pics, and some super-cute baby pics) you can visit her Facebook page and "like" her.

Don't mind the red nose. It was a chilly 50 degrees when the wedding got going. I was a bit cold...hence the re-appearance of the shawl as a scarf and the Bridesmaid Entourage hoodie.

So, I've shared some of the profesh shots...now for my really grainy, yet all that I have because I didn't feel like lugging my big ol' camera around, shots.

We tried to get some hair shots though they were a few hours afterward...so a bit fallen, but still nice. The last pic is me and the sister (who was responsible for the hair-do).

Overall, I thought things went well this weekend. I'm so glad that my friends are married and I'm even more glad to be done with wedding planning for awhile. Phew.
