OOTD: easter and a confession

Happy Wednesday, friends! Today, I'm linking up with Lindsey at the Pleated Poppy for What I Wore Wednesday.

First off, I must ask you to disregard my hair and makeup. These photos were done at the end of a workday and well, there was little refreshment before hand.

Anywho, the first outfit is my Easter outfit, I think. I'm not sure yet. I really LURVE the dress, but I'm worried that it's not quite dressy enough for church.

Your thoughts?

Dress: Old Navy
Shoes: Urban Originals

Oh yeah, that's my duck face. I just thought y'all needed to see that. HA!

The next outfit is a cute outfit that is essentially a "go-to" in summer months...cardigan and a skirt. So comfy. However, with this outfit comes a confession...ready?

Cardigan: Kohls
Skirt: Target
Tank: Rue 21

Ready for the confession? Okay, I give myself a li'l bit of self-tan on my legs before I post these photos. GASP. I know. I can't help it. It's just a little bit to knock the shine off. You can see the original in the photo on the left (above) and the "tanned" in the photo on the right. Now, you know my photo shame. However, it is motivation enough to get out my self tanner because my legs look like uncooked chicken.

On a side note, this is one of my favorite colors in the whole wide world to wear. Aqua. I think it kind of makes me look sort of tan. You know, the parts of me I didn't self-tan with photoshop. HA!

The end. ;)

  1. I like the Easter dress and I think it's plenty dressy enough for GS, if that's where you'll be. Personally, I'm hoping my new skirt arrives in time for Easter :)
Aqua is one of my favorite colors to wear too. I think it generally looks good on blue-eyed people.

  9. What Self Tanner do you use? I'm pale as a ghost...Every self tanner I've ever tried is either too orange/fake looking or streaks MUCHO! If I could find one that's a little bit decent I'd give it a try...
