First off, I must ask you to disregard my hair and makeup. These photos were done at the end of a workday and well, there was little refreshment before hand.
Anywho, the first outfit is my Easter outfit, I think. I'm not sure yet. I really LURVE the dress, but I'm worried that it's not quite dressy enough for church.
Your thoughts?
Dress: Old Navy
Shoes: Urban Originals
The next outfit is a cute outfit that is essentially a "go-to" in summer months...cardigan and a skirt. So comfy. However, with this outfit comes a confession...ready?
Cardigan: Kohls
Skirt: Target
Tank: Rue 21
Ready for the confession? Okay, I give myself a li'l bit of self-tan on my legs before I post these photos. GASP. I know. I can't help it. It's just a little bit to knock the shine off. You can see the original in the photo on the left (above) and the "tanned" in the photo on the right. Now, you know my photo shame. However, it is motivation enough to get out my self tanner because my legs look like uncooked chicken.
On a side note, this is one of my favorite colors in the whole wide world to wear. Aqua. I think it kind of makes me look sort of tan. You know, the parts of me I didn't self-tan with photoshop. HA!
The end. ;)
I like the Easter dress and I think it's plenty dressy enough for GS, if that's where you'll be. Personally, I'm hoping my new skirt arrives in time for Easter :)
ReplyDeleteAqua is one of my favorite colors to wear too. I think it generally looks good on blue-eyed people.
I will be at GS, so if you think that works, I'll go with it! ;) Thanks!
DeleteI LOVE the dress!! The skirt and sweater are cute as well! Those grey shoes (at least they look grey to me) are cute too!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! I thought of it as my cheap version of a Kate Spade dress I adore. ;)
DeleteI think it's perfect! That dress is so cute, bright, and colorful! And the aqua sweater is super cute too!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kim! Don't you love aqua?
DeleteThat striped dress is super fun! It definitely caught my eye as I was scrolling through the What I Wore link party!
ReplyDeleteYay, that's awesome! Glad you stopped by!
DeleteI think the dress is definitely fancy enough for church. Especially with those heels. Also, I love both of these outfits. So springy!
ReplyDeleteYay! Thanks buddy. :)
DeleteI defiantly think the dress looks great! It is perfect for Easter, so colorful! It looks really good on you!
ReplyDeleteI love that you tanned yourself via photo shop!! HAHA!
BAHAHAHA, I knew you'd appreciate the tanning part, Shar-rock.
DeleteI love that dress from old navy! I've seen it before and wanted it! And I think it's great for easter!
ReplyDeleteThanks Katie. I'm so happy with the purchase, honestly. I wish they had more than 2 colors.
DeleteI love the first striped dress on you! I want to get it now. I love your confession.

What Self Tanner do you use? I'm pale as a ghost...Every self tanner I've ever tried is either too orange/fake looking or streaks MUCHO! If I could find one that's a little bit decent I'd give it a try...
