Okay, first, I should admit that I didn't really watch much of the awards...given as how I do not usually enjoy country music. (are you surprised??)
However, I do love a good display of celebrities and fancy dresses, so my fashion recap on the best and worst dressed at last night's American Country Music Awards is below.
Y'all she killed it! I lovve the white dress with the asymmetrical fringe style and the soft (darker) hair. She looks fantastic!
In the words of my man Andy Bernard "Nailed it!". And nailed it, she did. Ordinarily, a nude dress on a blonde is QUITE a risk, but she pulls it off effortlessly. She looks amazing!!
The black! The cut-outs! The silhouette! With that hair and earrings? A 10!!! This is the best I've seen her look in a long time!
Some call this look rather boring, but I think it's classic and gorgeous - well befitting of the queen who wore it. Mrs. Faith is a country music queen and proves she doesn't need to show her entire body in something skin-tight to nail it.
I loved this burnt red number. It's classy, yet has a few modern cut-outs at the top. Her dark hair and skin are amazing here!
This is a bad Liberaci-Presley hybrid that just doesn't work. Who is this cat anyway?
First off...I LOVE the color. However, it ends there. The ruching on this dress, the gigantic matchy-matchy belt an the awkward silhouette are just all not working. Maybe remove the belt and make the dress be the ruched, fitting silhouette all the way down? Maybe. But this is just not working.
I think with a few tweaks I MIGHT have liked this dress. But overall I don't hate it...except for the sleeves. To me, that makes this dress look a lot less expensive. Maybe if the pattern were a different color?? I love her in red.
