It's Friday. I'm so excited because I get to hang out with the fam at the beach for the weekend. Yay!

I got me some new sunnies and they are quite large. They kind of give me a bug look, don't you think?
This is how I find my child most days when I come home from work. He enjoys standing on sentry duty...on the arm of my chair. Weirdo.
Speaking of weirdos...I bent down to unplug my computer and noticed someone peeping at me in between the shelves on the coffee table.
I made these delish cookies last weekend and they turned out great.
The secret ingredient? Sea salt.
I used this chocolate chip cookie recipe (minus the nuts, yuck) and subbed the 1/2 teaspoon of regular salt for 2 teaspoons of sea salt.
Yes these cookies are a bit salty. But yes, they are also delicious!

I've always thought it is the saltiness in homemade cookies that makes them so much better than store bought. I'll have to try the sea salt.
ReplyDeleteIn college I had a pair of oversized sunnies with white frames that I bought in the Market in Charleston. They were very Audrey Hepburn in How To Steal a Million. I loved them! Since then I have always gone for large sunnies. Where did you get yours?

If you haven't watched How to Steal a Million, you must (it's on Netflix Streaming). Her Givenchy fashions in the film are AMAZING! Funny Face is another great fashion film (also Audrey in Givenchy) and it's a musical :)
Girl, I got mine at Wally World. (aka Wal Mart) I have to do cheapo sunnies because I usually break or lose them. ;)
