Weekend Shenanigans

Happy Monday, my friends!

I had a jam-packed weekend. How about you?

M's brother got married on Saturday so most of my weekend was full of wedding festivities...and lots of food. That's how I roll.

Second & Third rows L-R: M & I at the wedding. Wasn't he an adorable (in the most masculine way, of course) best man? Well, maybe until we started taking crazy-faced shots. Heh.
Last row L-R: My weekend started and ended with great food. A Friday morning Bojangles Cajun Filet Biscuit and a Sunday triple threat of queso, guac and salsa at a local Mexican restaurant. Mmmmm.

After that delish not so healthy food this weekend, it's time to get back to the grind this week with my eating and working out. I've started a new weight lifting regimen and...well...yeah. I can definitely feel the soreness...but that's good, right? Over the weekend, I did some cardio, arms, abs and some exercise ball moves. Oh, and I did cardio eating...you know, eating while standing up at the wedding. I figured, I'd burn off more calories if I ate a piece of wedding cake while standing and walking than sitting.

Just humor me, people. :)

  3. My weekend was filled with wedding festivities as well! Don't you just love weddings? They make me so happy. Along with food...and the food you posted looks so delicious!
