diy multi-use floral accessory

Fabric flowers are so IN right now. I even posted a little diy link to a tutorial I used a few months ago for another kind of fabric flower. This is another kind of fabric flower that is little different looking and a lot less messy. AND the best part is that this floral accessory can be used in lots of different ways.

Here's what you'll need:
Fabric of your choice (I used a few different kinds)
Scissors
Needle and thread
Hot glue (optional)
Bobby pin (optional)
Safety pin (optional)

Here's what I did:

MORE USES:
Hot glue a safety/brooch pin to the back and use as a fancy pin.
Hot glue to a headband.
Sew multiple blooms to a wide ribbon and use as a belt.
Sew/hot glue to embellish throw pillows.
Sew to a ribbon and tie around vases.

Whew. That's a lot of use out of some fabric circles! Let me know if you decide to try it. Good luck!

  1. I really like the look of these, but I know mine would not turn out the same way. You should consider selling them.

  2. You know I love these. I pretty much wear one of the bday ones you gave me at least every other day. : ) I never thought about using them on shoes! I also sometimes attach them to a purse to make it look a little more decorative!

  3. Jill, if you're interested in some I can make them for you. I wouldn't sell them to you...I would give them to you. It would be a win-win-win!
