modern tinkerbell

It's been a LONG time since I've done any of the Disney Fashion Inspiration posts. [If you want to view older posts, click here.] Today's post is dedicated to the saucy little fairy we know as Tinkerbell. I love Julia Roberts as Tink in Hook. I think she does a great job of personifying the character of Tinkerbell in a feisty, flirty, funny and compassionate way.

So, I've got a few different outfits for today's post. The first one is more of a Casual Modern take on Tink. Let me preface all of them by saying that it is hard to not go costume-y on this because her outfit is basically a green strapless dress, flats with pom poms and fairy wings. I don't have a lot to work with there. End preface. :)

The next 2 outfits are very similiar. It combines separates to achieve that overall "green" look, but switching it up on the actual hue and accessories. I'll call this one Party Modern Tinkerbell.

    I love the first look... I'm SURE if I wore something like that, my daughter would immediately think of Tinkerbell (her fave!)
