29 Things

Tomorrow is my 29th birthday.

29 is such a weird age. On the cusp of the big 3-0, yet still clinging to the 20s. Strange, right?

Anywho, in honor of my turning 29, I'm going to share 29 things you may or may not know about me. Get ready, y'all this is about to get weird!

1. I loathe lettuce. Mostly the iceberg kind.
2. I use voices when I talk to my dog.
3. I only drink skim milk. Anything else is gross.
4. I consider myself a macaroni and cheese connoisseur.
5. I've never traveled outside of the United States. (Been to Puerto Rico once...but technically still the U.S.)
6. I own more than 30 statement necklaces
7. I have a super-cute owl Scentsy burner but whenever I burn it, I sneeze.
8. I have a hard time taking sick days at work. So I will literally go to work feeling like poo because I never feel like I'm too sick to work. Weird, I know.
9. I love petting zoos.
10. Consequently, I'm trying to talk M into letting me have a farm of cute hooved animals when I grow up: goats, pigs, donkeys, mini-donkeys, mini-cows, mini-horses, sheep, etc.

11. At any given time there are at least 12 different lip products (lipstick, gloss, chapstick, etc.) in my purse.
12. It's kind of painful to watch myself on camera or listen to my voice. It sounds different than it does in my head. I can't be the only one that thinks that, right?
13. I dislike the sound of a trumpet...usually.
14. My favorite color is aqua...mostly because I can't decide between blue and green
15. I can't pull off the boots n' skinny jeans look and it's a bummer because I LOVE that.
16. I have to eat some sort of chocolate every day.
17. I'm afraid of thunderstorms.
18. Whenever I order nachos from Qdoba, I crush them all up with my fork in the bowl and mix it with the other toppings to make a sort of nacho "soup" that I eat with a fork. Am I weird or what?
19. My favorite sports teams are the Saints and the Gamecocks. Oh and the Panthers too. ;)
20. The only other professional sport I like to watch besides football is hockey...on occasion.
21. I have a fur-child named Hewitt. He's a rescue pup and the cutest dog ever. (I'm not biased or anything though.)
22. I'm allergic to lillies. (the flower) And grass, trees, feathers, horses, cats, dogs and life.
23. I almost always have my nails painted and it feels weird without them painted.
24. I can write in both print and cursive equally as well and sometimes switch to cursive just to keep things interesting.
25. I played the trombone 5th grade through 8th grade. Boom!
26. I also know how to play the keyboard and guitar a little.
27. I love owls.
28. I'm technically a middle child but an older child practically. I have a half sister who is 8 years older. My younger sister says my personality changes when it's the three of us together vs. just the her. (we have the same parents so were raised together) So, I guess I'm an older/middle child hybrid?
29. I'm quite fond of stripes.
