Let's keep it short and simple today.
For this Top 5 Tuesday post, I've got some things to rant about.
1. Why are all the pretty statement necklaces that I like GOLD? And most of what is silver looks weirdly tribal or 80s. Sigh. It's not that I don't like gold, it just doesn't look great on me.
2. Can we please, PUH-LEASE (said in Stephanie Tanner style) stop with the high-low trend. Every time I see a cute top or dress/skirt and see that the back is at least 4 inches longer than the front, it makes my soul cry a little.
3. Two of my three football teams lost over the weekend. The team that won, I couldn't watch the game because my hometown team game was on at the same time and they are in the same division. So I had to live the win through small snippets of recaps. Sigh.
4. People who try to buck the system. And rule breakers, in general. Rules are there for a reason, people. If your local Moes closes at 8:00 and you waltz in at 8:20 and demand your food, that gets my blood boiling. Also, line skipping is for losers. If you are an adult and you're cutting in front of me (another adult) in line...don't be surprised if I cut you.
5. Why can I not find any cute office supplies that are decently priced? Everything in the stores is snore-worthy and online boutiques are ridiculously expensive. I may love your post-it note holder but I'm not paying $29 for it. Sorry. But then it leaves me with the horrid black wire/mesh things that were on my desk when I started working there. See my predicament?
A girl needs some cute office supplies. How else am I going to survive my daily cubicle-dwelling?
These are the things that keep me up at night. Well, that an my fantasy football roster...which was a big ol' bleh this week. Oh and too much caffeine keeps me up too.
See how I did that? I swiftly moved from ranting about office supplies to fantasy football and ended up with caffeine. My stream-of-consciousness thought process is really a gift.
And with that, I'll sign off.
Any rants you'd like to share? Comment below and we'll rant together!

I totally agree on the supplies...as I stare at my black mesh things.
ReplyDeletePeople who butt in line are total tools who deserve to get cut.
#1 is why I don't own a statement necklace.
OH MY GOSH! I have also had the HARDEST time finding great silver statement necklaces! I remember a few years back when NO ONE wore gold...
