Wedding Wednesday: The Bridal Shower

While M moved his stuff into our new townhome (didn't I tell y'all about that?? no? okay, another post then...) I enjoyed my "one and done" bridal shower. Well, one and done for the most part.* I wanted a bridal shower that could encompass my family, friends and church family all together instead of having multiple showers. So, this past Saturday was it. My sister (maid of honor) with a few other friends threw the shower and it turned out SO well.

The most amazing sangria EVER!

 

An ice cream sundae bar with my favorite flavors of ice cream. (Moose Tracks, Cookies & Cream and Chocolate) Pay no attention to my creepy ghost friend. HAHA.

"Pig Snouts" (powdered donuts with peanut butter on them) in the shape of engagement rings.

M and I got so many gifts! I think if you put all my birthday gifts together from birth to now it probably still wouldn't have been more than the number of shower gifts I got.

 

 



Admittedly, I've only ever been to 1 other bridal shower but I thought this one went off so well! Everyone was talking to each other and there wasn't any drama or weirdness. Family got along with family and friends got along with friends. I am so thankful for everyone that helped put this together and also for everyone who came. It was an amazing time!

 

*It's almost a one and done bridal shower since technically my work peeps are throwing a small one for me. But, it's close enough. :)
