spring pastel trends

Some people might think it's a little early to be celebrating spring, but I don't. With daylight savings time starting tomorrow, it's almost official, right? Plus, summer in the south starts in April, so why not give spring the attention it deserves?

Perhaps it is due to the lagging economy, or perhaps it is due to the influence of Lemon Breeland's wardrobe...but pastels are BIG this spring.

Mixing pastels! This is always a favorite thing of mine to do, but this spring it's a TREND! Hooray!!

    I like pastels. Peach is the only shade of orange I can wear and I really like lavender and seafoam. Of course, any shade of blue is nice. I don't think I would mix pastels though. I'd rather pair my pastels with lighter neutrals like khaki and grey. I love the yellow cardi, neutral skirt, and striped wedges in the first pic!

    I can't believe you referenced Lemon Breeland at all (Love that show), but especially not in a fashion post! Her outfits make me cringe. Physically.

      Aw, Jill. Some of her outfits are ridiculous, but her character has spawned many fashion trends. Plus, I love that she wears lots of pastels and florals. Very girly.
