Y'all should probably know how excited I am about the theme being GREEN. True to my Irish heritage, I love green. And, let's face it, my pale hair and fair skin looks GOOD in green, if I do say so. Heh. Green is fun. Green is fresh. Green is cool. Here are my 2 outfits that incorporate GREEN.
This first one was inspired by a Pinterest outfit I saw. I don't own a red skirt...but I do own a GREEN one! Oh, and Hewitt decided to say hello in the first pic.
Leopard Cardi: Target
Skirt: Former dress from Macy's
Tank: Rue 21
Shoes: Rue 21
Here's another 2 outfits and okay, the 3rd one doesn't contain green. Shhh... I wanted to include it this week anyway. Both of these outfits are "everyday" looks. Cardigans, ballet flats, jeans. Love it!
Green Cardi: Target
Gray Cardi: Target
White Tank: Rue 21
Jeans: Levi's
Shoes: Clear jelly shoes from somewhere...they're really old
Gray Belt: Rue 21
Green Flower Pin & Rosette Necklace: Made by moi
I'm noticing a strange photo trend, apparently the flash of the camera causes my head to want to turn to the right and droop...or maybe I just know my left side is my good side. Or my strong side...if you want to put it in football terms, you know, for my male readers. But let's be honest, when my male readers see I've got an outfit post they probably just exit out of the window. That's okay. I understand.
What about those of you that read this whole post? Do you like to wear green? What are your St. Patty's Day plans?
Nice! Green is a great color on you.
ReplyDeleteI have a green tank to wear under a deep v-neck white top for St. Patrick's Day. I've also got a super cute green & white stripe boat neck tee for my little girl :) I am going to read Patrick: Patron Saint of Ireland by Tomie DePaola to my kids and bake sugar cookies shaped like shamrocks with them :)
Dang, you're such a cool mom, Selah! I'm a little bit jealous. HAHA.
DeleteAw, thanks! When I was typing my comment earlier I realized my son didn't have a green shirt (which is weird because he looks really cute in green). I say didn't because we went to ON for their BOGO tee sale and now he has a kelly, olive, and white striped tee :) I scored 8 tees (2 for each kid plus 4 for me) for $36!
DeleteI am stopping by from EBEW! I am so glad I found your blog! I am loving it!

Thanks Whitney!!
DeleteI love how you are always able to use belts and they look great. On a blogger related question, how the heck did you enable the "reply" feature :-)?
ReplyDeleteI replied on your post. I wanted to check to make sure you had your "reply" feature working too and it appears to be doing so.
DeleteLove that green skirt! And the necklace and pin are so cute- great job! -J
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
DeleteLove the green skirt and how you took inspiration for the outfit thanks to Pinterest. That site is a goldmine for outfit ideas! - Katy
ReplyDeleteThanks! Man, oh man, I have to limit how much time I spend on there because it always makes me want to go shopping for new clothes. HAHA.
DeleteThat skirt is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI love the green paired with animal print...I totally wore the same cardigan today with a green dress and wondered why I'd never worn that combo before! You look great!
ReplyDeleteVery cute outfits! I love the green skirt (green is my favorite color by far) and the gray cardigan outfit is adorable. LOL at your poses...I always feel so awkward in my pics but always do the same basic pose. :) Visiting from The Pleated Poppy!
ReplyDeleteI definitely like to wear green :) I really really like those rosette pin/necklace things you made!
ReplyDeleteOh, and I ALWAYS do that head to the side thing. Looking right into the camera is intimidating haha!
I wear a bunch of green bc I have hazel eyes. Well, that's my excuse. I LOVE your skirt!
